i have msi p965 msi and have 4 slots to add RAM , i put 4 GB RAM each one with bus speed 667 and my windows can see only 3 GB not all of 4 GB , what should i do ? iam using windows vista.
i have problem with my mother board it is MSI p965 , need help ?

goto http://www.crucial.com and let them scan it to give you an overview

Take out the RAM and Reseat It. That would be step one. Take ESD precautions of course.
If that does not help. Take all but one out and see what you get.
Put another one in and see what you get.
Put another one in and see what you get.
Put the last one in and see what you get.
Of course you are going to turn off the computer…unplug it and use ESD precautions during this process.
You need to determine if you have a bad stick of RAM or a defective SLOT. Use trial and error and process of elimination and common sense.
