I purchased a new thinkpad with accessories all of which were back ordered. I had problems with setting up the home network in the Windows 7 system. I called their service and they denied the warranty I had just paid for. Their order status web site is always down. The 866 order status phone based system is a bunch of barely English speaking people who also do not have server access. My accessories are on a never ending delay (up to three months now). I bought Adobe Creative Suite Windows ED not knowing that ED did not mean edition but meant “educational”. I did not get a serial number and could not activate the software. To return it cost me $50! Never again will I order a Lenovo.

This item (Lenovo Thinkpad X200) was featured on Amazon with Beach Audio as the third party seller for a ridiculously low price of $ 733.
I ordered the item last evening. Beach Audio sends me an email that they will ship the order by this evening. A few hours later I get an email from Amazon that the order has been cancelled!!
Beach Audio didnt even have the courtesy to let me know that they cant fulfill and order. Amazon didnt even bother to send me an explanation. They just curtly told me that it was the Third Party dealers fault.
Horrible experience overall.
Buyers, please beware of lowball prices posted by Beach Audio. They’re probably just tryin to get visitors to their site. Thats all.
I have a friend who knows a lot about computers and was nice enough to provide some specs according to my needs. My issue was size and weight of a laptop to use for work and for school. The specs on this laptop, I was told, will last a long time, BONUS!! This fit all my needs and my budget!! I am especially impressed with the rapid delivery of my new laptop. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for providing the best deals especially on electronics! I just hope I don’t have to contact Lenovo service, eeks..

These Thinkpads are the Best They have the look and Feel of High Quality!
I have a SL410 but Amazon no longer sells it, so writing this here.
Bought a Toshiba laptop weeks ago then returned it. It was OK but it looked and felt cheap with the very high gloss surface had to constantly wipe it down. The thinkpads have a matte finish, much better.
Also the Toshiba Laptop had these annoying popup windows that would appear reminding me to upgrade and buy software.
The touch pad is great very accurate, also much better then my toshiba.
Only had mine a few a couple weeks and am impressed overall.
I’ve been a electronics tech for 20 years and a IT degree, I can say these are made very well. The connectors and interface are well designed. Just wish mine was a little lighter the 410 is about 5lbs.
Score: 5 / 5
I have the x200 with extended life battery and 2.4 ghz processor widows 7. This is an amzing little machine. It’s built like a tank, and the battery life is incredible. I get about 10 hours!! IBM/Lenovo has been building workhorses for business use for years. They know what they are doing.
