    I have the same problem I see black screen no picture. Could it be that after some time the piece of crap dies? Or with some MS update something changed. I have not tried to put the backup image back, YET..

    I’d think it is… call them up and see what they say, they’ll most likely want you to send it back… It didn’t take TOO long to get back to me, i sent it on January 19th, and I got it back on February 4th… pretty quick service

    well Here’s an update, I had to send it back to MSI and they fixed it.. now it works fine.. . it was a bad webcam… they said they’ve seen a bunch come back like that..

    i see black too, but with one difference. When i trie to double click de video device icon on my pc, windows gets and error, and i cant just see the interface for (trie) take photo.One week ago, i was using webcam in skype. Now, pressing F6 i dont see the led. And in webcam aplications only black screen. Errors updating firmware too.. so, now, i just have webcam on my msiwind.All updated,.. bios.. chipset, video.. I think i have trie all combos, and nothing. I cant turn on this webcam.. bufff
