Problems With New Msi Wind Netbook (linux Version).?

i just got this netbook and am not familiar with linux suse – anyways, the computer froze and was doing weird things, so the next time i booted it up, i had the option to return to factory default settings, which i did. now, it seems i’ve installed a partition that i don’t understand, and can’t get rid of, and which is occupying about 30G of space on the computer. What do i do? can i reload the whole shebang, and get that useable space back? i’ve tried to find help about partitions on the internet, but i simply don’t understand what it tells me to do….any help would be amazing! Thanks!

I assume the factory default setting is still suse linux.
Could you copy and paste the 30G dir that is the problem? Not the whole 30G just a listing of the files that it contains.
What happens, what message do you get when you try to delete it. Linux should always give a message when some command fails.
There is no reason you could not simply reinstall whatever version of linux you want.
