lately i brought a card (MSI NVIDIA GF 9500GT 1GB DDR2 PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD), for my computer, without the knowledge that my computer only has PCI slots -.-
Seeing as i can’t use it – without having to buy another motherboard – is it possible that i could insert this card into a laptop with PCI express graphics slots?

btw, i have a PCI x8 slot, totally different from the PCI-E x18 slot
I have a cable 10 meg connection and a Belkin pre n router on my pc.
My wife has a pre n network card on her pc down stairs. When we play battlefiled on the same server both our pings are constantly 20-25.
But on my computer it judders then kicks me off while hers judders a little but she plays no probs.
When i set up an online game my wife can join and so can other peopel on the net and it plays fine, but i dont know why it wont play ok when me and the wife play on a ranked batlefield 2 server.
My specs are
Athlon 64 3800+
2 gig ram
MSI NX7900GT Grapihcs card
So i dont know what the problem could be, any info from some techies would help.
Thanks

I have seen MSI and Acer computers out and the reviews that I have seen aren’t all that great. Does anyone know anything about them or have any personal experience with them?
People say that emachine computers are junky and thrashy but what is the reason? I don’t know why when they use Seagate Harddrive, MSI motherboard and intel cpu. They just put it together right? or is there another reason?
and waht makes dell and compaq better computers like people say?
So where does it end and start getting good again? I mean:
Mobo MSI 785GM-E51 ($84)
AMD Phenom 925 ($144)
RAM Patriot PC3 12800 ($109)
Will my old HDD plug right in and work without dying or does it need to be registered online?
i have to choose between three separate computers. i have a budget of (i’m guessing) 1K, and maybe a little more….
These are desktop replacements. The computer is taiwanese maid, but they haven’t heard anyhting bad about them. the only cons i have read would be the full keyboard and the screen doesn’t move much passed 90 degrees.
They can all overclock to 2.75 (except the 2.0GHz which goes to 2.50GHz or something) via a BUTTON. the two larger ones come with a backpack, but they all have different processors and one has a diff video card.
The HD’s are partitioned so that you can have your OS on one and your data on the other. Can get used to.
I’d like to get a few extra accessories for it, but i should be fine with what i have for now (i guess)

MY MAJOR QUESTION IS, is MSI worth the risk? or should i go with a different company? Lenovo, acer, gateway? don’t say anything mainstream, because a gaming computer would be far more expensive from someone like dell, HP sony etc.
thanks dude. now i would like it if someone would tell me which of those is the best deal for meh moolah.

Rate them 1-10 if you have used them. I like the first one because it has a bigger screen.
