However, in doing a disk check, I see something of it has been left behind. It is located at Windows/Installer/Diskeeper2010.msi. So, first I looked for the Installer. I cannot find it.(I use Vista Premium) So I then proceeded to do an “everywhere” search, including all files, folders, and hidden folders. Nothing came up. So I am confused. The utility says it is there, yet I cannot find it on my computer. When I delete a piece of software I would prefer that none of it remain behind. Could it be in the registry? Maybe that’s why it is not showing up on the search. I haven’t done a search in the registry yet. So I have several questions: 1) How do I access the Windows/Installer folder? 2) How do I delete this particular ‘left behind’ file from this software? If I need to go into the registry, please provide step by step instructions, as I don’t want to naturally mess up anything in there. Thanks a lot.
