hpproductassistant installation window?

remove HPProductAssistant installation window that pops up at start from my computer. I understand that it is a microsoft installer program .msi – I have check the startup – it does not show here, I’ve checked the scheduled things to run – it does not show here either. Where do I find this and how do I get rid of it?
I have talked to HP support several times – they have not given me a resolution to this issue.

Korean Language installation Vista Home premium on laptop?

I have a MSI core duo laptop with vista home premium and i configured the laptop so it can write and read most of the korea language. but it cant 100% there are language packs for XP and all but the xp one dosnt work on vista one. can you help where i can find a pack please

Help with iTunes installation?

I deleted iTunes because I had installed it in a folder I didn’t want it installed, and tried to install the new update. But during the install, I get this error:

“The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to the folder containing the installation package ‘iTunes.msi’ in the box below.”

Then there’s some file browser selection. I don’t know what to do, I can’t find iTunes.msi anywhere, I guess there is some component of iTunes still on my PC that needs to be deleted first? I click cancel and it says “The older version of iTunes could not be removed. Please contact your support group.”

Can’t find it, it’s nowhere to be found. And I wasn’t trying to update, I just meant I downloaded the updated version and tried to install it. It will not install.

i right klick the counter-strike(D:) then i open CS1.6 then i double klick on the windows installer but the compter says: You cant open this by MSI. you should open with Setup.exe
what does that mean?

How do I get windows XP to recognize additional SATA hard drive installation?

I have two Western Digital 37GB Raptor SATA drives installed in RAID 0. I later installed two WD 250GB SATA hard drives. The bios sees them, but windows XP does not recognize either drive. How do I configure the bios or operating system so that I can see these new drives under disk management or My Computer? The motherboard is a MSI Diamond Plus. The bios will allow me to configure another RAID array using these drives, but I only want to use the 250G drives for storage. Thanks much for any help!

what is the root of this problem? tested on 2 differences pc. MSI and gigabyte motherboard all gives the same results. last time XP pro and Vista32 installed with reasonable times and now it took over 1 hour to complete the installation. can the motherboard be hacked for one desire?

i have installed and played FSX before on my computer but I uninstalled the game because my activation was acting up and tech support told me to uninstall and then reinstall the game. So I tried installing it again and theese error messages came up:

I had a wireless printer installed on my computer…I had it unplugged for a good while. I noticed after I turned it back on the computer kept saying it was offline. I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Now as it makes it to 94% complete it tells me the network I am trying to use either can’t be found or detected I forget and I need to find the folder containing the file scan.msi. I have no clue what to do and I am afraid I will no longer be able to use this printer I just paid over $100 for. HELLLLLLLP!!!!!

it suggests I go to the support on the website to look up “fatal error” and “MSI.BPDSW” but that’s not in the listed errors on the site.

To correct a printing problem, I uninstalled my HP PSC 1610 and reinstalled it using the maker’s CD. This error message has appeared: An installation pkg. for the product HPPhotosmartEssential cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation pkg. ‘HPPhotosmartEssential.msi’. Please advise how I should handle.

Hiya. I have Vista and I am an administrator. Every installation from an .msi file has the same error that it cannot create the directory in my appdata local folder. I have tried installing it with UAC off but still the same error. How can I fix this and install the .msi?

This message appears when I open Sonic Digital Media home. The problem started when my Cd burner drive was shot, (this is a new desktop with an athlon 64 processor, and a lightscribe CD and DVD burner), so I took it in to Best Buy, they replaced the drive, and gave me discs to install the new drive. I installed it, but I never used it (for about a month) because I didn’t have the internet. Now I have the internet, but unfortunately, I don’t have the Discs that came with the drive anymore. So when I open up Sonic, the error comes up when the windows installer activates. I need to know what to do to fix the error. Please help!

One 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector -or- Two 4-pin Molex supplementary power connectors

I don’t see any power connector on the card. Is this just a misstatement?

Every time I try to run the MSI it says.

Windows Installer:

“This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or cotact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package.”

So any ideas?

I am looking for a guide on how to install Ubuntu Linux as a second operating system (you know, so when I boot the computer, it will ask me which OS to boot?)
