MSI is better than dell and lenovo and other mainstream companies right?

My dad doesn’t believe me that MSi is a good brand. From what i know. it is very good, cheap, and bang for buck, having also received many awards for their products.
I found at $1275 msi that equals a $1400 dell XPS computer. My dad still thinks that msi is a bad brand
