This network appears each and every time I search for wireless networks with my MSI U100. It started to appear recently. It’s just there. It’s described as a computer to computer network and has that laptop to laptop icon. Even when I turn off wireless connectivity, it’s still there. What is it?
I’m pretty sure it’s not my neighbor’s. I’ve been to different locations and it still appears.

Removing Windows 7 from a Dual Boot Menu?
Okay I’ve been working on this for two days and still haven’t solved my problem. I have an MSI Wind U123, which came partitioned into two drives (C: and D:). Windows XP SP3 was what it came with, and I installed Windows 7 on the D: drive, but realized I don’t need to test it anymore. So I formatted that drive and completely (at least I hope I did) erased Windows 7.
However, when my netbook boots up, it still shows the boot menu giving me two options of booting an “Earlier Version of Windows” and “Windows 7″. I’m trying to get rid of the “Windows 7″ option. I don’t want to just hide it, but I want to make sure that my netbook knows that I only have ONE operating system.
I have already tried editing the boot.ini file, but it the text only shows that I have Windows XP. My netbook came with a recovery CD, but my netbook doesn’t have a CD drive. I looked for ways to load it on to a bootable USB drive, but I’ve been unsuccessful. I need a way to access the recovery console so I can run a fixboot and fix my boot file.
I pretty much want to revert to the point before I installed Windows 7, and keep my XP installation. Anyway, I’m open to any possible solutions, and I really need help.
