Get MSI Netbook

Should I get the Acer Aspire One, or the MSI Wind, or the Mini Gateway one, or the Dell mini one, or which?? I need help deciding to get a cheap mini laptop, under $400 thats good quality. thanks

I’m looking to buy a new laptop…for a cheap price; but still have it be a good quality computer to use.

ok so the ones that i hear are good are the msi wind, hp mini, dell mini 9, acer aspire one, and the samsung(forgote the name) ok i wanna know what netbook is the best and why? can someone plz tell me thnx oh btw im just going to use it to surf the web and stuff

I am a junior in high school and have been saving up for a laptop. I like the sleek designs the mini notebooks have. My Toshiba just died and was outdated anyways, running Windows 3.11 and 98. I would like something no more than $1000, but am not quite sure what to get. I have seen online a few. (Asus EEE PC, HP Mini-Note, MSI Wind, Intel Classmate, Everex Cloudbook)

I’m trying to find any mini notebook with XP or Vista. Which would be the best choice for under $1000 that you think would also work for the next 6 years?

I also know that most if not all mini notebooks have no cd/dvd drive. What would be the best mobile (no a/c adapter needed) external cd/dvd burner drive that isn’t too bulky? I am just trying to find something lightweight that is small and convenient since my book bag is already 20+ pounds.

i am looking for a netbook and im stuck between these 3. please help me find the right one! o and also, how much does the Eee Pc 1101HA cost? thank u soo much!
the reason i want a netbook is because it is portable. since everyone one is saying to get a laptop do you reccommend any cheap ones?

problem is my mini laptop doesn’t take c.ds

so i cant install the hp printer without installing the c.d

is there anyway i can download the hp photosmart c4280 All-in-One printer series online ?

Are they any good? I’m looking at either the acer, asus, or the msi q2 design… are they worth it?
it’s more for just going online, internet, typing papers up, webcam. I don’t know much about computers, and webcam is 1.3 mega pixels? I’m getting a macbook in a couple months, so this is just to carry around when i dont want to carry around the mac.

Well, a straight forward question.

Please tell me which of the computers you own, or have directly experienced. Tell me what the pros and cons were of using the computer, and whether you would recommend it. Also, if you have another suggestion for a computer, I’d love to hear it!

As for what I’ll be using it for, I’m a highschool student, going into the 10th grade. I would like a computer I can easily take to school if necessary. I have mostly been looking at netbooks for the following reasons – Portable, Cheap, Long Battery Life, and they seem like the only laptops left that run windows xp.

I like to work with graphics and I like to play games, but that’s not really the main reason I’m buying the computer, and I’d actually like to keep myself off games and focus on my rather grueling schoolwork as I’m going to be dual enrolled and in an AP class, so a lower performance computer is sort of a plus in this case.

I plan to dual boot one of the many forms of ubuntu, and windows xp for all the weird stuff my teachers send me that won’t run on linux.

I am willing to upgrade the memory and make other performance enhancing modifications, but It would be awesome if it didn’t cost all that much to do so, because I am paying for at most of this with my own money. I am trying to stay within a budget of $300-$350(which is pretty much my life savings), though I could probably get my parents to give me $50 if needed, and $100 if I do awesome in school and beg really hard.
