Get MSI Netbook

I have an MSI Wind netbook. If I download anything, the computer will crash, a blue screen with computer language comes on for a split second then the computer restarts and I get “Media Test Failure, Please Check Cable” Above that is says Realtech HDI…etc

Another time it crashed similarly and I got “NTLDR is missing” Press Ctl, alt, delete to continue.

It doesn’t reboot until I force shutdown by pressing the power button and turning it back on. What can be the cause of this? Is the hard drive bad?
I experience this when I download a powerpoint on firefox or if I transfer files from a thumb drive.

I’m not sure but it technically has two hard drives..under my computer I have a C drive which is 40gb and a D which is 80gb. I don’t know why its partitioned.

I have a Gateway LT2001u netbook and I have been looking everywhere for a case like this.

The problem is most of the cases are either for MSI, Acer, Dell, etc. I’m afraid to purchase one that is listed for another model because it may not fit it tight enough. It seems like I have searched every website there is. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m going away tomorrow for the next week and am looking to get a new netbook since my asus eee pc died. I am looking at the MSI Wind and they had it at best buy but seem to be sold out in every store in maryland until febuary.

Are there any other stores that would carry them instore not online?

Okay i’m getting a netbook very soon and i need to know what is the best overall, asus eee, acer aspire one, hp mini 1000 xp, msi wind, or dell mini 9??? I need help please answer!!
(if there is a better netbook for about $300 please tell me)
i only have $300 to spend so $600 is out of the question (and netbooks are becoming and will become more affortible and common, whats not to like about them, a small computer that does lots of things like write documens and surf the web?) and i’m thinking about the hp, i like the bigger keyboard, but i have a loyalty to dell because of other products, and i have never owned an hp before?? more answers please!
pretty much everybodies been saying dell or hp and i think i might be forced to get the hp (which is not neccisarily a bad thing, i think i will be happ with either one) because bestbuy doesn’t carry the dell, but there is some little computer stores around here so i could check there but i would rathr not run around looking for the dell ????? more answers please!!!

I am currently first year College/University studying Law/Commerce. So i want to be able to take notes, check emails, watch the odd video. I need a netbook/laptop which is preferably under 1.5kg, can get 4+ hours of WiFI doing simple tasks such as word so i dont need to carry the brick, and a full size or near full size keyboard so i can ‘touch-type’ (I have large hands as I’m 6ft3″
