How do i fix these problems with itunes and quick time on windows XP.?

i have windows XP and i was trying to uninstall itunes from another administrative user and reinstall it, but then i was having problems not being able to use the itunes i just downloaded because of quick time. i’ve tried everything i could think of and it didn’t work, so i thought i would try one last time and delete all of the itunes and quick time files and re-install it, but now it won’t let me delete them and i keep getting this message:

For itunes:

The feature you are using is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package ‘iTunes.msi’ in the box below

then there’s a box that has two options in it- C:\DOCUME~\MY NAME~1\LOCALS~\Temp\IXP170.TMP\ and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple and a browse button next to it.

the same message shows up for deleting quick time
but instead its ‘QuickTime.msi’
and the first option in the box has my brother’s name instead of my name.

microsoft office 2003 pro… accessing problems…?

everytime i open any microsoft office 2003 application, it just happens to prompt the window installer evertime and asking for something PRO11.msi file…. what’s the problem?!?!?!?

Call of Duty : World at War ( 5 ) Problems.?

Hello, i have some serious bugs with this game i installed it (PC) and what not and it takes at least 5 minutes to get to the menu with nothing but a black screen! It finaly pops up and i can playthe game missions i get threw each level but when i complete it to load to the next leveli get again 5 minutes of black screen freezing . i then get a video and click to start the game. every time it loads it is a black freeze screen and i try to play the missin “Eviction” it freezes and i cannot play it i tried “ALT TAB” ALT TAB AGAIN THEN ESC” method and it does nothing also i adjusted my sound still nothing. my PC can play Gears of war 2 full graphics Medal of honor :Airborn full brothers in arms HH full f.e.a.r.ect
2 gb of ram
MSI GTS 8800 320 MB card
its an excelent PC can anyone help me? i paid 60$ and waisted it. Very unhappy with the makers of call of duty at this moment.

i just restored my comp and im havin problems?

when i try to download msn live messenger it says:
The ordinal 266 could not be located in the dynamic link library msi.dll.

then when i try to download itunes it says:
This installation package cannot be installed by the windows installer service. You must install a windows service pack that contains a newer version of the windows installer service.

wat can i do???

building a desktop, running into 2 problems?

heres the problem, while on, the dvd drive (which works) doesnt open when we have both power going to it and have one of those ribbon cables or whatever their call, but when thats not plugged in and theres just power, it opens up no problem, came to the conclusion that its a bad cable… however, once everything is hooked up we run into a problem with the video card i guess, its plugged in but theres no picture, theres no OS but shouldnt i at least get a BIOS screen?

any ideas on things to try will be nice, maybe some one ran into this problem…

I’m having problems downloading the online game Maple Story. Pleez Help!?

After I downloaded the Install wizard I waited for it to download than clicked the yes I agree to terms of service, after that it started loading and was nearly finished but then it said “the feature you are trying to use is on a network that is unavailable.” then it says, “Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing installation package Maplestory.msi.” I dont get it I dont have the folder with Maplestory.msi because Im trying to download it! anybody know what to do?

Have you ever had problems uploading photos from a disk to your computer? What to do?

I tried to upload some photos I just got developed on a computer. They were on a HP disk and in the process it blocked me from being able to access the internet. “Windows Installer” keeps popping up that says “Sonic Update Manager”. It also says, “The feature you’re trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click O.K. or to try again enter an alternative path to a folder containing installation package ‘UM.MSI’ in the box below. I did that a few times and then it says, “c:\hp\tmp\src\UPDATEMANAGER_msi\um.mi cannot be found”

Any ideas on what I should do now?
I removed the photos from the computer but still can’t access the internet and it’s been over 24 hrs.

problems with php and apache?

Apache 5.2.6 is not working .. Please HELP !!!?
I’m frustrated trying to make PHP and Apache works.
Here you have what I’m doing:

1. First of all download the Apache 2.2.8 MSI Installer and the PHP 5.2.5 zip package save these files to your Desktop

2. I ran the apache and chose localhost and I went to the locahost and I got “It Works”

3. I extracted the php-5.2.5-Win32 zip file to C:\PHP.
And I went to the “httpd.conf” and scroll down to the line
“# Secure (SSL/TLS) connections”
And before that line and put
# Secure (SSL/TLS) connections
#Include conf/httpd-php5.conf

4. And then, I created a folder “httpd-php5.conf” on the “conf” folder.

5. And I put into this folder
LoadModule php5_module “C:/php/php5apache2_2.dll…
PHPIniDir “C:/php”
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
6. I restarted apache and create a folder with “” and still is not working :-( please help

pinnacle 12 problems and .net framework help?

Ok so i just bought a dazzle capture card and it came with a cd to install pinnacle 12 so i put it in and when i almost finish downloading it, it gives me an error saying 1603: Error installing Microsoft(R) .NET Frameworks. and when i try to download microsoft .Net framework 3.0 it just tells me it failed to download and here is the error report if it helps

Computer Problems: MSI cannot be launched on startup?

Does anybody know how to fix my problem. Each time i load my computer i get 3 error messages saying “MSI cannot be launched on startup” and have to cancel a windows installer. does anybody know how to fix this?

Hello everyone. I just installed Ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex on my MSI Wind U100 and after the first update the the networking seems to shut down. i can’t connect to to wired internet at all and the wireless isn’t even an an option. Please help me solve this problem. Thank you.

What are common problems to expect with netbooks?

I’ve just bought a netbook, an MSI Wind12 U230, but I’m not sure about its lifespan. I’m worried since my experience with my HP tx2000 laptop was just awful, having it conk out on me after 1 year and 3 months. Could someone tell me whether I can trust this brand or not? Any problems I should anticipate?

Problems With New Msi Wind Netbook (linux Version).?

i just got this netbook and am not familiar with linux suse – anyways, the computer froze and was doing weird things, so the next time i booted it up, i had the option to return to factory default settings, which i did. now, it seems i’ve installed a partition that i don’t understand, and can’t get rid of, and which is occupying about 30G of space on the computer. What do i do? can i reload the whole shebang, and get that useable space back? i’ve tried to find help about partitions on the internet, but i simply don’t understand what it tells me to do….any help would be amazing! Thanks!
