Need some help. Im trying to install a game (Manhunt 2) and i keep having issues with DL files and instalation?

ok so i downloaded this game from a torrent. its now in winrar format.
i tried installing (threes like 5 or 6 different icons that do i i think). each one has some issue. The game was downloaded into 3 files within the manhunt file (1 for each CD)

1st one : instmisa.exe (CD1) Problem:Error wrong OS or OS version for application (WTF DOES THAT MEAN!?)
2nd one (in CD1 file):instmsiw.exe same problem
3rd one: ManHunt.msi: Problem: it gets into the installation shield then at the beginning of the process this comes up : Error 1311 Source file not found. (can this be fixed by extracting into one file?) somthing somthing Verify that this file exsists and that you can access it.
4th one: Setup.exe (this one gets alot further into the installation but then stops and the same thing comes up.

ok by now im steaming. cus i dont get too much usage with our current plan and i just dwnloaded 1.6 gigs of crap,. but wait it gets worse.

then i found a lil icon that looks like the ones u can just click to start the games. so i clicked that then this came up :poin_BinkCopyToBufferRect@44 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll.
which fustrates me because previously it was a dl.binkw32 file problem and i tried fixing it using other peoples advice …
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEBODY HELP! this is fustrating me beyond beleife

I want some opinion about MSI gaming laptops?

Hi there, I have been reviewing some MSI laptops on their website. So, I want some opinion about these laptops which is GX400, GX620 and GX720 because these three received the most award among all laptops by MSI. All of these laptops uses the same graphic card, Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT. Also, if some of you have another opinion, can you pick any gaming laptops by MSI that uses Intel processor and ATI Radeon graphic cards. What do you think about MSI gaming laptops if it is to be compared to ASUS?

I just wanted some expert advice on my computer status?

Um…so my computer is still slow and I am beginning to think I am just running out of disk space since I download lots of graphics and pictures, If I delete them can I recover disk space and also how does this report look from disk fragmenter? Is something here slowing me up…I am clueless when it comes to computers…

I bought some new ram for my Desktop and now my computer won’t boot?

I bought a G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ which is the same brand and everything from my last one but the other one are 2×1GB. If it helps my motherboard is a MSI P6N SLI Platinum LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard.All the computer does is my modem turns on but my monitor stays black and doesn’t even turn on
its running on windows xp and i have a 8GB max supported for memory
64 bit. And ya i thought xp recognized up to 4 GB, i was stating that my motherboard supports up to 8 GB
i was wrong its 32 bit sorry
All i want to do is run 4 GB is that possible?

i have been getting problems with my flight simulator x.as it finishes to download it says:”error1722.”there is a problem with this windows installer package.”A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.contact your personnel support or package vendor.

after a while it says :”error:-1603 fatal error during installation.
consult windows installer help (msi.chm) or msdn for more information.

personally i haven’t got a clue about anything.if anyone can help me resolve this problem, your help will be apreciated.

Need some help fixing my PC?

OK, I was using Windows 7 and wanted to install Windows XP but 7 doesn’t let me to do this so I tried to press F11 as the computer starts and boot it from DVD. Computer booted as normal so then tried to format hard drive. While downloading dban software I was copying personal files from C disk to D. Created a shortcut to turn off automaticly in 36000, after realising it means 600 min, created another shortcut to do the same thing but just in 60 min, then my PC started lagging and i thought it will stop and went to sleep. In the morning I turned my PC and it just showed: BOOTMGR is missing, press alt+ctrl+del to restart. Asked a friend to give me his hard drive and installed it in my PC.Formated C disk (from my own hard drive) and wanted to write down SATA driver from “MSI drivers and utilities” disk into a floppy disk (cause connection to my motherboard and hard drive is SATA). But I couldn’t find any folder or a file that would have a word SATA in a name. Although I found some folder containing (something like that) 2 folders and 1 README. In that readme were writed instructions what folder to install into floppy disk.One folder is M???? (4 numbers) and M???? (4 numbers), but I couldn’t understand what it says. I think it has to do something with my problem. What to do next?
I tried to simple boot it from CD, but it doesn’t do anything. It just says the same thing: BOOTMGR is missing.

Windows 7 problem. For some reason can not delete old files from Windows xp and can still boot into windows xp?

have an Msi Wind u100, and I recently bought Windows 7 premium upgrade package from digital river. I installed windows 7 using a custom install because I had xp. But when I finished the Windows 7 install and logged in all of the old files from xp were still there and i couldnt delete anything. Windows 7 said I had no programs installed, but yet my c and d drive(partioned into 2 drives for some reason not really sure why came that way) were still almost full with the stuff I had installed on xp. I though by doing a custom install it would be a clean install of windows 7. If anyone could help me figure out how to do a clean install of WIndows 7 from the files I have bought and dowloaded from Digital River. That would be great. :D
Ok so….I thought I had fixed this problem but now I am some how dual booting 2 different windows 7’s. So what I did was sense windows 7 was installed on the d drive partion I figured if I installed it on the c drive partion and then re-formatted the d drive it would stop dual booting. But instead when I boot up I get 2 dif windows 7’s the top one works fine and is what I am using right now. But the bottom one does not work. I am now trying to figure out how to stop it from trying to dual boot/remove those files I guess but they are not there any more sense I re formated the d drive…

Any help will be awasome.
So… I have fixed the problem I just installed on the C drive and then reformatted the D drive. Then I went into msconfig by typing msconfig in the search box in the start menu. Went under boot setting and deleted the other windows 7 one sense it wasn’t even really on the D drive any ways sense it had been reformatted.

OMG help..I put some kind of itunes quicktimes apple update and rebooted and now when I click on itunes icon?

it says problem with shortcut this action is only valid for products that are currently installed. I never in the past saw itunes when I went to all programs and don’t knew what this message means or how to access my many songs. I feel sick..

Please tell me how to find it..I did do a search for itunes and it turned up many files but not sure which one open the itunes up or what to do now..

please give easy to understand directions if you say anything

update then an itunes agreement popped up so I checked I agree thinking maybe I needed to do this for the update to complete and the itunes screen popped up but non of my songs or folders are on it anymore..I am ready to cry

Update..I tried to restore to a date two days ago thinking this would help the problem ..It didn’t although the message changed.

tried run and typing iTunes.exc and got

then it reconfigured and started the same messages all over.

I went to my music and clicked on one of my albums and it said iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall itunes.

If I do would I remove itunes and if so will I lose my many songs

if I install a new itunes will I lose my old songs..oh man I am really, really upset and know nothing about computers…my son a computer expert will never help me and got mad reecently when I questioned something he told me that differed from advise on here, so all I have is you guys..please please help me..everything is going wrong..mom just died recently. I was almost killed in a serious wreck and I am very fragile emotionally…this music distracted me and cheered me up and now it is gone and I am crying.
