What is the best Netbook (not Notebook) for a student?

i’m a student that is in need of small laptop (netbook) for quick notes, and i have 6 class periods, so i’m only looking to charge it for one or two of the periods (most likely one). it needs to be small, light-weight, and very portable. i had my eye on the acer aspire one, which is looking good with the linux version. i also had an eye on the msi wind, but im only looking to spend $400(possible $450). plz help me! thanks!

I just want something with good battery, pretty screen, good keyboard (easy to type fast with–for all of those major essays), and good memory to hold all the documents and possibly some songs that I can do my homework to. I always listen to my Itunes on the computer when doing my homework. I’m just tired of sitting in the corner of my house, doing homework for hours on the desktop. I want the cheaper laptops..so the two options I have right now are the Acer Aspire One and the MSI Wind. Which would you recommend I get?
