How to set my wireless router to password protected?

I use the AirLink system. I have an MSI laptop, using Windows Vista. For some reason, my internet is not secured. I could have sworn I set it to need a password, but indeed I did not.

Can someone tell me (step-by-step) how to make it so my neighbor cannot use my internet???

Thanks so much!!

hmmm, no such program…I searched the brand name, and came up with nothing. Any other ideas?

Should I get a wireless card or a wireless usb adapter for my PC?

I just built a new computer with an Intel Core 2 quad, a DFI Blood-Iron motherboard, and a MSI 8800 video card. I need to get a wireless adapter to pick up wireless N signal. I’m trying to decide whether I should buy a wireless card to install in my desktop or just get a wireless usb adapter. What is the difference, if any, and what are the pros and cons of each?

What would you choose between wireless router MSI RG60G or Conceptronic?

Both support 802.11g, have 54Mbps, and a 4 port Ethernet switch 10/100Mbps. More or less in the same price range.

Considered Belkin but is prices fairly high for my pocket. Linksys is a good brand but could not find locally!

wireless internet detection problem?

my notebook (msi u100) can’t seem to detect the wireless network in my home..my brothers’ and my dad’s laptops (all Macs) can easily get connected, but i can’t..

all it says is “wireless network not available”, what exactly does that mean? because the wireless network is always on in our house…

i used to be able to connect but it suddenly disconnected and i wasn’t able to get back on..

my dad already had the software fixed or something (this had happened once before), but now it’s happened again..

how do i fix this to be able to connect again?

MSI Wind wireless problem?

yesterday my sister got an MSI Wind notebook and when she turned it on windows detected 3 wireless signals with WPA encryption and today windows AND linux do not detect the wireless signals even if the wireless signals are still there.

What could be the problem?

What is this “psp_aucus98646_L_game” network that appears that appears everytime in my wireless network menu?

This network appears each and every time I search for wireless networks with my MSI U100. It started to appear recently. It’s just there. It’s described as a computer to computer network and has that laptop to laptop icon. Even when I turn off wireless connectivity, it’s still there. What is it?
I’m pretty sure it’s not my neighbor’s. I’ve been to different locations and it still appears.

Netbook wireless connection help?

i purchased a black msi net book and it took us forever to get the wireless connected. now i haven’t used it in a while and the wireless isn’t found anywhere on my net book. when it searches for the connections, nothing is ever found but when we go to preferred connections it shows up. also my mom uses the wireless for her work computer when she works at home so i know its just my computer. can anyone tell me whats wrong???
