I deleted norton from my computer,but I keep getting a box saying please wait while windows configures norton antivirus2005 and the msi must be launched through set-up every time I download anything

I had the same problem. If you installed Norton System Works, you have to uninstall ALL Norton products to fix that. Check one by one all the former components and erase them.
