Why doesn’t the webcam on my msi notebook work?

Every time I click on it, it flashes up on the screen saying “Capture device was used or not installed!” What do I do?

    you are probably missing a driver. Google search ” webcam driver for (whatever laptop you own)”

    Reinstall the driver file

    do you have the right webcam or does it have a shortage in it check it

    You probably need to install the correct driver. This problem can occur if you’ve recently installed a new operating system or installed a new webcam. Your computer/webcam should have come with a CD that had the driver on it, if you have the CD, then just put it in the computer & install.

    If you don’t have the CD, go to the webcam manufacturer’s website, then to the Download section. Select the type of webcam that you have, and the operating system you’re running.
