I wanted to update my Windows Installer I have 3.1 Version and my registry is missing 2 strings, will an updated Msi updade delete items on my Hardrive? will is mess up anything? also what is the best updated installer? I really appreciate the help.

most updates fix anything wrong with the previous versions ^^

the update would replace it with new items.
it should be fixing your problem.
