any suggestions for separate parts would be great. i would like to play LFD2, COD, and BFBC2 at high settings. also could this run crysis at high settings? do you think i should get rid of the monitor and spend the extra 200$ on other component because i already have a monitor at my house but it is only like 15 inches and not wide screen? i already have a sound board too.

Yup, the set up looks pretty decent. Should run the games at high easy. Oh and get a new monitor, I switched from 17crt to a 19 lcd widescreen and that extra 2 inches made my gaming experience so much better. Its worth the switch trust me, you would do your self a favour getting that 24 inch beast.

Yes, this looks like a good gaming system. The only issue I see is that while the video card supports high definition the monitor is not high definition, unless you left that out of the specifications.

All of the specs look superb, however there are some minor changes I would recommend. The A-DATA RAM may have the Specs, but I would recommend getting a more namebrand set of RAM cards such as corsair or kingston. also, the CD drive is nice, I have a LITE-ON, but you may want to upgrade to something a bit faster, say 24x? thats what I have and it was super cheap. always great. It may not seem so now either, but 500 gigs will only go so far. I filled up my 500 gig HDD today and just came back a few hours ago with a WD Caviar Black 1 TB because memory goes so quickly these days! I was cheap when I bought my computer and just tried to save dollars here and there. I regret not going with a larger HDD from the beginning! Just a strong recommendation!
